Just to let you know I am 51 that was my first race and I loved it! Even, though I didn't check my time it was great. Thanks Baltimore!

Dear Active Survivors Network:
I am writing you a very belated thank you for sending along my plaque that I won coming in 2nd in my age group in the Survivor category. I was sooo surprised! Since it was my first run in 7 years, I never thought for a minute that 1 hour+ was a good enough time to win anything. I was just pleased that I finished!
It was a great run, the whole shebang was well organized, and I had a very nice time seeing the scenery as I huffed and puffed along. I hope you do it again next year, and have a few other races along the way!

Jay,
I just wanted to drop a note to say thank you for organizing Survivor Harbor 7 -- what a great experience! Do keep me in the loop with regards to future events and if there is anything I can do to help, simply let me know.
Kind regards Donald W. Reid
Good morning, Jay:
First, I wanted to thank you again for allowing the Baltimore Women's Classic 5K to participate in the Survivor 7 on Saturday. It was an awesome event - you must be INCREDIBLY pleased with the result. I think you will have a very tough time next year keeping your numbers under 1,100 - word of mouth alone should increase your attendance by 50 percent.

Hi Jay: The reception on Friday was great and you had a beautiful day for the race. I hope you relaxed on Sunday!

I heard nothing but praise from my side of the race...everyone I talked to loved it and especially the course...you and Ellen and all of the others, Kay, Amy, etc..did a tremendous job! I hope you get some rest this week! If you want me to post the results on the site just let me know...I am sure you are taking a break for awhile...

Jay-
Just a quick note to say what an awesome and inspirational day I had Saturday riding in front of the pack for the Harbor 7 Survivor race. I thought you and the team you assembled did such a great job pulling everything together (especially given it was everybody’s first time!) You should be proud of what you’ve accomplished in such little time and I know there are only more great things ahead!
Hopefully now you’ll have the chance to catch your breath for a day (although knowing you, I doubt it!) Take care, keep up the great work you are doing and let us know if we can ever be of any help to you again in the future. Be sure to stay in touch.
Warm regards,

Hi Jay - Congrats on a great day. It was a great race venue, the weather was perfect, and the massages much appreciated. Thank you to the entire crew who made it happen.

Jay I have to let you know that putting together a series of events like you did is difficult - but simply brilliantly done. I am sure only a couple of folks truly appreciate all the level of detail that you had to be dragged through - I think that you did a stellar job.

Jay: The race and all associated events were terrific. You did a great job and I hope you are satisfied with the outcome. Thanks for all you did and encouragement. I enjoyed my run this morning, but mostly it was just great being at the starting line, as Karen S. said in her talk. That is something I will carry with me at all future events....I will always be grateful for the opportunity to just be there. Now time for you to relax some. I'll see you in October at the Baltimore marathon ... I'll be doing the 1/2 marathon.
