All persons on the course are required to register for the race. All pacers, family members and friends are asked to register if you plan to run with anyone.
Race start & end
Both races are point-to-point races starting at Tide Point (7-mile and 4-mile), the beautifully re-developed Tide Point Business Complex in the Locust Point neighborhood of South Baltimore (see directions). The race will include the Inner Harbor, Inner Harbor East, Fells Point and Canton and conclude at the historic American Can Building (now the Can Company) in Canton.
The Course
The course is USATF certified #MD06002JS.
The course is urban, flat and includes a few tight turns across the bridges on the promenade. There are a few crossing on cobblestone (entrance to Rash Field and in Fells Point) so be careful (wheelchairs may have alternative routes). The courses will also be led by bicycles and motorcycles to ensure no wrong turns and safety.
PLEASE FOLLOW THE BIKE VOLUNTEERS – NOT THE POLICE.
The course will be clearly marked with cones and volunteers. There will be a course map in your participant bag.
***Wheelers – Please attend a pre-race meeting on race day to address difficult areas on the course. The meeting will be held at race day registration at 7:00AM at Tide Point (race start).
